RIP to Mac Book's Indian Market (Maybe?)

India has imposed an immediate import ban on laptops and personal computers, requiring companies like Apple to obtain a special licence to import these gadgets. This move is expected to result in increased prices for laptops in India, including Apple MacBook. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued the notice, signalling a potential price hike in the country.

It's Meta and Google Against a Common Enemy

Meta has started blocking Canadians' access to news on Facebook and Instagram as a response to a new law requiring digital giants to pay publishers for news content. The Online News Act aims to support the struggling Canadian news sector and requires digital giants to make fair commercial deals with Canadian outlets or face binding arbitration. Google is also considering a similar move in response to the ongoing global debate around tech firms paying for news content.
